Hiatus (again)

Soooo, I've been a little busy to say the least.  I have been working a ton, tying up all the end of school projects, last minute beach trips and all the other monotonous daily chores that make me go crazy.  literally.
I did somehow however find a second to snap a few pics of my precious, and by precious i mean the opposite of precious, third daughter and her cute outfit.......Enjoy!

ok, so when we heard that Jess (my fantastic backdoor neighbor) was finally having a baby GIRL, we knew we had to plan a pretty special baby shower in honor of the baby-GIRL-to-be, and well, baby-GIRL-to be's mommy.....so we got to planning pretty much the second the doctor confirmed the vagina!!! :)

So, THE boss was cleaning out her make-up drawer (and her makeup drawer is the most beautiful and organized drawer ever) and decided she didn't need a lot of what was in there because she never used it, so guess who was the lucky one to get all of it????

Omygoodness! I can't seem to find the time to go to the bathroom, let alone find the time to blog and take pictures, so i thought I'd have the youngest daughter take some pics while i was getting ready for a "mommy and daughter tea" date at school.  So this is what you get........

ok, so already today: I unclogged a tiolet, I did 3 loads of laundry and folded it.  I cleaned up two spilled drinks and a knocked over bowl of cereal.......*sigh*.
 It's things like this that i got as a present that makes me feel just a little better on such sucky days.  I can't wait to use it if i can ever get myself into the shower today! :)

Ok, so i have the world's BEST boss. seriously.  I'm more less an administrative assistant/personal assistant and I couldn't have asked for a better job.  Anne, "THE boss", let's me pick and choose my hours, she set me up with an awesome office in my home and i get to go on two PAID vacations a year for the company and it's WITH the husband.......and just recently she sent me on a shopping spree to BCBG for "administrative assistants" day.  Oh, and let us not forget the Fendi heels, the countless kate spade purses, Tory Burch flats, and many other things she has bestowed upon me because (as i said) she is the. best. boss. ever.....and a great friend that i have been extremely blessed with.

Help me find this shirt or something similar....because again, it's trendy, but easy to wear, which is what I need while cleaning up after three kids, and running errands and making lunches and cleaning up lunches and changing diapers and doing laundry and going grocery shopping and preparing dinner and cleaning up after dinner.......

TJ Maxx made it all better!

I thought this cardigan for $14.00 at TJ Maxx was a good choice for an "everyday" kind of outfit.  I have to have a couple different outfits that are comfortable for the everyday grind, but still kindof stylish.....i thought this worked pretty well with the fuscia belt from Lord and Taylor!  ....and i'm pretty proud of my "blogger" pose here......

Katy Perry Concert!!

What a fun time!  4 of us went to the Katy Perry Concert at the US Naval Academy (thanks Dale and Manda), had awesome seats and I felt 15 again!! 

trying to stay "cute" in DISNEY WORLD!!!!

I love Disney.  Like LOVE.  So i was so excited when my parents planned a trip for Mike, myself and the girls to go this past week!  I always said that the only reason i had kids was to take them to the happiest place on earth :)  and although it wasn't always magical, we had a great time as a family and walked away with many memories!!  Mike and I went to Orlando with the expectation of "this is THE GIRLS vacation-not ours" and although we did get to lounge by the pool most of the day with an orange crush always in hand-it was THEIR vacation and mommy and daddy are now broke!!!  Here are a few Disney Pics....in case lex, you didn't see enough on FB!!  :)

Easter

"Vacation" with the girls.....

and i use the word "vacation" loosely as it's really THE Girls vacation rather than mine and Mikes.....
This week is going to be all about the girls and hopefully them having the time of their lives.  I hope they walk away with fun memories of this trip because we have promised them that mommy and daddy won't fight or won't have their normal "over it and frusterated" attitudes that we tend to have during any given day!! 

I'm super excited for them to visit Disney World because c'mon there is something magical about it, it's where mike and i got engaged--I'll have to share that story another time..... and because we are prepared to spend major money on stupid crap and be the worlds BEST parents!!!!  High hopes, i know.....but i'm challenging myself to give them that for the five short days we will be there.  And no worries, I have ordered our groceries and more importantly ADULT drinks to be in our room waiting for us when arrive!
